High above the Lahn River in the city of Limburg is this magnificent German cathedral. With its seven towers rising to reach the sky, it is one of the most beautiful examples of the transition from the Romantic period to the Gothic period.
The original drawing by Ron Colgrove is 40” x 30” and was drawn in pen and ink using a flexible crow quill dip pen taking approximately 80 man-hours. It was then reproduced using an off-set press onto 24” x 18” 24 lb art paper and hand water colored. Limited edition giclée prints of this pen and ink with watercolor are available.
